US labor board accuses Apple of violating employees’ rights

Apple has been in hot water with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) since 2022. . He agreed to review it last January, but the NLRB found that Apple violated workers’ rights . Today, the NLRB strikes again, accusing Apple of anti-union practices, denying employees the right to negotiate wages, and even illegal non-disclosure, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements.

Honestly, it’s the same song and dance that’s been playing since 2022. These complaints stem from former Apple employees Cher Scarlett and Ashley Gjøvik. They argued that Apple prohibits salary discussions and that CEO Tim Cook is aiming to punish leakers accordingly. Gjøvik also claimed that employees were prevented from speaking to journalists.

He made a statement to Apple the first person to report this complaint. The company maintains that it always protects the rights of employees to discuss wages, working hours and working conditions. If Apple doesn’t settle the case, an administrative judge will hear it in January.
