Blumhouse Games’ Fear The Spotlight set for release on October 22


Blumhouse, the horror production company behind blockbuster hits like Get out, M3GAN and the Insidious films has extended its creepy tentacles from horror shows and movies to horror video games.

Fear the spotlight does first introduction to the game with the help of indie developer Cozy Game Pals. The horror game will be fully released on October 22nd, and a demo is currently available for PC .

Fear the spotlight is a third-person horror adventure game that takes place after hours in a high school. Vivian and Amy, two curious teenagers, sneak into Sunnyside High School, which has a dark, mysterious history, to hold a session in the middle of the night. A deadly creature with bright, glowing eyes stands up and begins to walk the halls of the school. An attention-seeking monster separates the girls, and it’s up to Vivian to unravel the school’s mystery, find Amy, and make it out of the darkness alive.

The game uses PS1-style, polygonal graphics that add to the game’s creepy aesthetic, much like some of the early horror classics. Ghost creatures and first Silent Hill the game. There’s something about a rectangular head that sends shivers down my spine. One of the many reasons I’m not looking forward to it .
