Logitech is showcasing a slew of new gaming accessories and hardware at Logi Play 2024, which is currently happening. Among Logitech’s many new offerings, two keyboards and two mice caught our attention.
Let’s start with the G Pro X TKL Rapid Wired Gaming Keyboard, a first for the G Pro line, a keyboard with magnetic analog switches. These switches have adjustable trigger points, quick trigger function and key priority. In short, the keyboard lets you customize how hard you need to press, has quick keypress recognition, and the ability to prioritize certain keys when double-pressing them.
You can also use the multi-point feature in the G Hub keyboard customization software to assign multiple commands to a key depending on how long it is pressed. As the name suggests, it’s a keyless model (no dial pad) and you can get it in November for $170. The three colors available are black, white and pink.
The next keyboard is the G915 X series, a trio of new members of the G915 family (we reviewed G915 TKL in 2020). The mechanical keyboards all feature redesigned galvanic switches with a height of 23mm and a travel point of 1.3mm. They retain the original volume cylinder, G key, and media keys, but the Keycontrol feature allows for more macros, even allowing users to combine the G key with other keys.
The G915 X series includes the G915 X Lightspeed ($230), the G915 X Lightspeed TKL ($200), and the G915 X Wired Gaming Keyboard ($180). The G915 X Lightspeed is the unlocked version of the G915 X Lightspeed, the G915 X does not support wireless connections, but it is identical to the G915 X Lightspeed in almost every way. The Lightspeed models are available in black or white, but the wired model is only available in black. They are all available now.
Moving on to mice, the G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse has been updated. Pro X Superlight and Pro X Superlight 2both are favorites among current and former Engadget staffers. This new mouse was developed with the help of professional sports athletes, boasting a maximum 44k DPI, 888 IPS acceleration and stable 8kHz polling rate performance.
The Superlight 2 Dex Lightspeed features five buttons and Lightforce switches weighing just 60 grams. It’s also compatible with Logitech’s PowerPlay wireless charging system. If you’re interested, you can get it now in black, white, or pink for $160.
For those who like the original G Pro mouseConsider the Pro 2 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse, an upgrade from the older model. The Hero 2 sensors on it are rated for 32k DPO and over 500 IPS acceleration. The highest sampling rate for the Pro 2 Lightspeed is 1 kHz.
Like the first G Pro, it weighs 80 grams, perfect for gamers who prefer something heavier. It doesn’t support wireless charging, but it can work with the Pro Lightspeed receiver for 8kHz polling rates. The receiver will go on sale in October for just $30. This mouse is now available in black, white and pink for $140.
