Meanwhile, Sony’s AI upscaling technology (aka NVIDIA’s take on DLSS) is called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, or PSSR, which should sharpen in-game assets without the need for resampling. The new console includes a game booster tool to improve the performance of more than 8,500 backward compatible PS4 games.
The PS5 Pro is the same size as the original launch model, which is not small, but lacks the disc drive model. This is another additional charge on top of the $700 price tag. The good news is that it has a decent 2TB of storage.
