Earlier this year, Google said goodbye to it saying that the feature is no longer needed. While many were sad to see it go, we can now rejoice that Google is partnering with the Internet Archive to bring back something essentially similar. You can watch it now thanks to the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine easily.
You can start accessing cached pages by clicking the three dots next to any search result. Next, look for the “About This Result” panel and click the “More About This Page” button. Doing so will take you to the Wayback Machine and allow anyone to see snapshots of web pages at different times.
Mark Graham, director of the Wayback Machine, said that some archived web pages will not be available because their rights holders have refused to have their sites archived by the Internet Archive.
