Game Pass Standard is now available on Xbox

Xbox Game Pass is the Standard plan starting today. Microsoft has announced that it has updated its Game Pass subscription plans It offers a Standard variant along with a price increase for the Ultimate tier. The Standard plan costs $15 per month, while the Ultimate will cost $20 per month.

The standard subscription level will offer the core features of Game Pass: online multiplayer, access to a large game library, and discounts on select game purchases. The big difference between Standard and Ultimate is that Standard plan members won’t be able to play some blockbuster releases, e.g and on the first day. The standard waiting period varies by title, but can be up to 12 months or more. The latest plans also include EA Play membership and access to Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Xbox is struggling to compete with PlayStation in this console generation. This is partly due to hardware differences: Microsoft suggested Sony has managed to do so, however, with this summer’s console lineup because of his expensive new ad . But the Game Pass plan has also struggled to generate sustainable revenue for Microsoft subscribers reported in February.
