How to watch the new iPhone 16 unveiling at the September Apple event


If you think upgrade to a new iPhone hang on a little longer this week. Apple’s iPhone 16 event it’s next week and that means you can buy a newer model or get the iPhone 15 for less in the coming weeks. The Apple event will be held on Monday, September 9 at 1:00 PM EST (10:00 AM PST) at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino. As for new products, expect the usual September updates – a new iPhone 16 set alongside new Apple Watch models (Series 10 or “X” and possibly the Ultra 3). The new AirPods, which come in both entry-level and Pro-level models, may also be on display at the Apple event.

As for the iPhone 16 models, not much will change last year’s modelBilly Steele of Engadget called it “the most significant update to a regular iPhone in years”. Look for the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max, which are rumored to have a slight increase in size compared to the 2023 models, and a new camera button on the latter two.
