GameStop has announced the launch of a group retro gaming retail locationswill stock physical consoles, discs and cartridges from classic Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox and Sega platforms. The company announced that X will include 18 classic systems, from NES to PS Vita. You can search Gamestop’s website for retro-friendly locations within a 100-mile radius, but most will rarely find these stores. Chrono Trigger.
For gaming retailers, this makes some degree of business sense. While most of us download our games from online stores or have them delivered by Amazon, the combination of physical media and a certain experience can play to GameStop’s strengths. The biggest problem may be piracy.

The billionaire should stay in France for the foreseeable future.
Pavel Durov, CEO of Telegram, was formally charged by the French prosecutor’s office and banned from leaving the country. Durov was charged on Wednesday with “complicity in the distribution of child pornography, illegal drugs and software hacking” in the messaging app he founded. He must remain under “judicial supervision” in France and check in at a police station twice a week while the investigation continues.

It’s been a long time since we’ve had a first-person shooter from PlayStation. The debut game from Firewalk Studios, a 5v5 team shooter Concordhowever, it failed to capture the imagination of players. Is it the lackluster characters or the occasional unabashed Guardians of the Galaxy vibe steal? They probably don’t help, but less than 700 concurrent players on Steam (and no fanfare announcements from Sony about player count/copies sold) point to some bullshit.

Apple’s latest iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 developer betas include several more Apple Intelligence features. Most notable is the Cleanup tool in the Photos app, which is very similar to Google’s Magic Eraser. The Photos app will identify distracting background items for you, so you should be able to remove them with one click. Otherwise, you can circle or brush the object you want to nix. The tool also matches every image in your camera roll.
