Samsung’s first 5K monitor is now available on Amazon for almost half off its original price. The company announced this ViewFinity S9 5K monitor It was first released at CES 2023 and earlier in South Korea brings to the United States last July with a list price of $1,599. You can now get the 27-inch monitor for just $830, 48 percent off the list price and the lowest price we’ve seen on the e-commerce site. Note that it is comparable to ViewFinity S9 27-inch Apple Studio Displayand it’s a 5K monitor that will set you back at least $1,599.

The ViewFinity S9 has a 5,120 x 2,880 resolution, 218 pixels per inch, 99 percent DCI-P3 with color saturation and a 60 Hz refresh rate. It’s designed with creatives in mind and features a matte screen to reduce light reflections. The monitor also comes with a Smart Eye Care mode that automatically optimizes brightness, reduces blue light and eliminates screen flickering to reduce eye strain.
Thanks to DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, you can connect it to both Windows and Mac devices, so you can use it as a monitor for different computers. If you often broadcast or participate in video calls, you can use its built-in SlimFit 4K camera, which is compatible with both Mac and Windows computers.
The monitor is compatible with Apple AirPlay and will be able to mirror or extend your screen, helping to increase your productivity. If you’re looking at long documents and a vertical screen would be ideal, you can rotate the monitor 90 degrees to continue reading without too much scrolling. In addition, you can easily use it for entertainment as it comes with several smart TV apps as well as Samsung’s Game Center.
