But everything back to the gamesand thanks to the company’s double Nintendo Direct on August 27th, we’ll have a clearer idea of what’s coming to the Switch. The broadcast will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET. on YouTube With an Indie World showcase that will lead to a Nintendo Direct Partner launch.
The two-on-one stream will last about 40 minutes, but Nintendo has emphasized that it’s there there will be no news about its next console (it’s smart to manage expectations about this). Indie World launches often feature several games that suddenly hit the eShop on the same day, so you’ll likely have some new options to check out tomorrow.
The second showcase will include details on third-party games coming to the Switch. Interestingly, Nintendo hasn’t revealed exactly which partner or partners it has lined up, perhaps in store for a significant surprise. Yes, yes, we say it every time there’s a Nintendo Direct or Indie World, but if ever there was an ideal time for a game. Hollow Knight: Song of Silk release date reveal and a deep dive into the long-awaited sequel, that’s what it feels like.
