When Lego first announced it Mario Kart sets It will arrive in 2025we didn’t expect them to be released on the first day of the year. But the company just announced availability for these kits starts from January 1. New Year is a miracle.
Lego’s Mario Kart collection includes new buildable versions of iconic characters such as Yoshi, Peach, Baby Mario and Donkey Kong. Of course, there are a few card designs taken from recent games, complete with paragliders and motorbikes. By the way, these cards will shoot green or red projectiles in real life, which is a nice touch. Some figures also play sounds and music from the popular kart racing series.
All told, there are six sets to choose from. These include a 133-piece blue Yoshi set that comes with a Yoshi-themed motorcycle, and a 174-piece iconic Mario set complete with a red kart dressed as a pit crew member and Toad.
The most impressive of the set is the 832-piece Grand Prix set. It comes with a starting gate, three cards and four characters. Prices range from $15 for something like the aforementioned Yoshi set to $80 for a Grand Prix set.
Lego is indeed developing a portfolio of play-related combination packs. In addition Mario Kartcompany just announced a few Animal Crossing sets. They were also released on January 1. This has happened in recent years traditional Mario sets, comprehensive Zelda sets and Fortnite collectionsamong many others.
