Twitch updates subscription costs for mobile purchases. Starting October 1, Tier 1 subs and gift subs made on the company’s mobile app will be $8 per month, up from the current rate of $6 per month. Tier 2 and Tier 3 prices will not be affected.

Company this summer, the Tier 1 price to subscribe to a channel on desktop will increase by a dollar in the US, from $5 to $6. This change first went into effect in July, the first time Twitch sub-costs increased for US viewers. Action followed England, Canada, Australia and Turkey earlier this year.
The larger increase in subspending on mobile is likely a response to the fees charged by both major tech companies for in-app purchases. This topic has trapped some companies eligible and they have reduced the commission percentage for several people . Both of them and In response to the Digital Markets Act, Europe has also adopted new payment structures.
