The REV-8 is a four-wheel, all-terrain beast with all sorts of exciting features for your space-exploring needs. The new vehicle includes a built-in turret to take down hostile enemies and a thick layer of armor to protect you from unfriendly fire. The REV-8 also has rear boosters for those moments when you need to quickly flee the scene, and undercarriage boosters to help slide through cliffs and canyons. There’s even a seat for Vasco, so he can conveniently remind you when you’re driving too fast.
You can get the REV-8 from the ship’s technician. After you purchase it, it will also appear next to your ship after landing.
New Starfield the update also comes with a number of display tweaks for gamers on the Xbox Series S console. There are new options for your 30, 40, 60 or “uncapped” frame rate target. If you don’t have a variable refresh rate (VRR) screen capable of 120 fps, the 30 and 60 fps options can still be used.
The update also lets you choose between prioritizing visuals and performance in your game while maintaining your selected frame rate. Bethesda recommends prioritizing “performance” if you’re running at 60 fps or higher.
The new graphics update also lets you toggle vertical sync (Vsync) on and off in your game. Vsync prevents screen tearing during gameplay by synchronizing the graphics card’s frame rate with the monitor’s refresh rate. So if you turn it off, you run the risk of screen tearing, but it won’t limit your framerate.
These same features have been added version Starfield back in May. The May update also introduced a new design for the surface maps to improve readability on all platforms of the game.
