Snow Riders makes its gameplay trailer premiere at Gamescom


You better get out your winter parka and thermos full of hot cocoa because it’s a downhill biking game Only Mountains: The Descent a very snowy sequel is coming. Megagon Industries released a gameplay trailer with commentary during Gamescom for its new blocky ski game. Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders.

The new downhill racing game will receive a Steam release before the end of the year. If it’s a big enough hit like the first one Only the game can be ported to consoles.

The Lonely Mountains titles are racing games, but they’re not loud and boisterous. They don’t even have any music. There are times and challenges to conquer, with rewards like new bikes and new trails and mountains to explore. The real focus of the game is more on the simple, quiet experience of going down beautiful polygonal landscapes at the speed you want to go and finding new routes that can shave seconds off your best times. Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders carries the same, simple gameplay formula, but with some additional features. Snow Riders will offer solo and live multiplayer modes with up to eight other players. Multiplayer matches can also be a simple race to the bottom of a mountain, or a co-op mode where players must work together to complete certain milestones and achieve the highest collective score, according to the trailer.

The new landing game will also feature a special “Zen Mode”. This mode allows you to simply go for a walk and explore different paths on the mountain to unlock shortcuts and other secrets. You can even stop your snow session and sit and take in the view with your blockhead riding friend.
