Hidden Level Coming to Prime Video on December 15th is an anthology series inspired by the game. The upcoming Amazon title is from the same team behind Netflix. Love, Death and Robots. from the teaser released during Gamescomthis new project will continue Blur Studio’s expertise in creating masterful animated works for adult audiences. The creative team was looking for inspiration “nerd joy” with Love, Death and Robots and at first glance Hidden Level it seems like a natural progression of that goal.
Each of the 15 stories in the show is inspired by a different game. Official list of inspirations: Armored core, Concord, Cross fire, Dungeons and Dragons, Exit, The honor of kings, Mega Man, New World: Aeternum, PAC-MANvarious PlayStation Studios games, Sifu, Spelunky, Outer worlds, Unreal Tournament and Warhammer 40,000.
Games feel like a natural inspiration for this type of animated show. The cinematics in some modern AAA titles have all the polish and emotion of indie films. Moreover, the game has been reaching new levels of success in recent years thanks to projects such as television series inspired by the game Fallout, Our last and Hidden.
