Apple Music has a lot to offer. This is our top recommendation in our guide right now the best music streaming services. We like its approach to recommendations, balancing a large number of editorial playlists and stations with algorithmic suggestions. Every song is available in CD quality or higher, and lossless streaming costs nothing.

For computer-curated listening, there’s a “Discovery Station” that helps you find new music by playing songs by other artists you’ve never heard of before, or by other artists the algorithm thinks you’ll like. In my experience, saying “Hey Siri, play me Apple Music” does a pretty good mix of things that I like.

A few caveats about the service: It’s really designed for Apple devices, although it’s also available on Android devices. You won’t be able to find podcasts on Apple Music. And apart from this deal, there is no free version of Apple Music. Pay $11 a month or listen elsewhere.

As for the deal, we’ll reiterate that this is for new subscribers only – previous subscribers or even those with access to Apple Music through the Family plan are not eligible. You must also sign up using the Apple Music app on an iPhone, Mac, or iPad running the latest software. An Apple ID is also required. You can read all the terms here’s the deal.
