Amazon’s latest incarnation of the Echo Spot is back on sale. There is a smart alarm clock . This device was sold for $45 in July, but this is the lowest the Echo Spot has been since then.
Amazon claims the new model has a sharper screen and better sound than the original (the company canned the first Echo Spot in 2019, two years after its debut). The front of the new Echo Spot is almost split in half with the display at the top and the speaker at the bottom. Unlike the original, this model has no cameras, which is a nice move. It always seemed odd for Amazon to include one in something that many people use as a bedroom.
Amazon’s revived Echo Spot is back on sale, this time for $55.
The Echo Spot, of course, has Alexa integration. You can use the voice assistant to play music, control smart home devices, and create wake-up routines. The display can show you information such as the title of the song being played, weather details and of course the time of day.
There are several other Echo devices currently on sale, including the Echo Show 5. 2023 model . It’s one of our favorites and it can also function as an alarm clock (the touch snooze function is handy for those who want to shut up for a few more minutes). The Echo Show 5 has a built-in camera, but there’s a physical shutter you can use to block it.
In the meantime, the Echo Dot can be yours . That’s $20 off the regular price. This is our choice it’s under $50, so it’s even better value for money thanks to this sale.
