After a major update in the spring, the Sonos app became very broken and lost basic functionality. Basic features like sleep timers and alarms were missing. Some users also reported that they were unable to rearrange the speakers, that the speakers were intermittent, and that they had trouble performing other basic tasks. Some say they are unable to download the app securely. I experienced most of it. Sonos has a clear plan for how it intends to fix this mess, but there’s no word on how long it will take.
