Our favorite cheap wireless earbuds drop to just $49

There are plenty of options for headphones, right up to the top-of-the-line sets that are packed with features and deliver excellent sound. But for people looking for a solid pair of headphones that work well without breaking the bank, there are plenty of options in this area as well.

our choice for Soundcore by Anker Space A40. You’re in luck, because that model fell back on itself . It’s usually on sale for $80, so that’s $31 off. Considering we feel the Space A40 already offers great value at full retail price, this is a strong deal.

Our pick for the best budget wireless headphones is down to an all-time low. You can buy a set of Soundcore from Anker Space A40 headphones for $49.

Lightweight headphones should be comfortable to wear for long listening sessions. Battery life is 10 hours, with the charging case adding an additional 40 hours of listening time. Anker says a 10-minute quick charge will add up to four hours of listening time.

As you’d expect from a cheaper pair of headphones, there isn’t as much detail in the sound profile as higher-end models, although they do offer warm tones and decent bass performance. EQ settings can be adjusted in the Soundcore app as touch controls.

The Space A40 headphones have an IPX4 rating for water resistance, so they should withstand everyday sweat and light rain without too much trouble. You can use each earbud independently and connect them to two devices at the same time.

What really sets the Space A40 apart from competing models is its active noise cancellation (ANC), which performs very well for a range of headphones in this price range. Adaptive ANC technology adjusts the intensity of noise cancellation depending on your environment. However, louder sounds won’t be completely blocked. You also have the option to manually adjust ANC levels. The transparency mode isn’t bad either.

On the downside, the microphone quality isn’t fantastic, so the people on the other end of the phone call may not be able to hear you very clearly. There is no automatic pause when you remove the headset. However, these are minor quibbles considering how well the Space A40 headphones perform in other departments.
