Ibrahim Al-Nasser from Riyadh entered the Guinness Book of Records most video game consoles connect to a television. His collection includes some of the classics such as the first Sony PlayStation, Nintendo 64 and (his personal favorite) the 32x and Sega Genesis complete with Sega CD expansions. He also owns and plays these handheld and play consoles with arcade classics. Ms. Pac-Man and Drilling You’ll find it in Target, classic and modern handhelds like the Hyperkin SuperBoy, and obscure consoles like the Magnavox Odyssey.
Al-Nasser uses a series of switches to play each console on one screen. He tracks their location and amplification procedure in an Excel spreadsheet. He’s even organized his collection so that the cables don’t show or create the tangled mess that most of us have to deal with when we have just two consoles connected to one TV.
That might sound like a lot of video game consoles for one collection, but it’s far from an actual record. Linda Guillory, Garland, Texas According to the Guinness Book of World Records, it currently holds the record for the largest collection of playable game systems with a collection of 2,430 items.
