High quality active noise canceling headphones will always cost a pretty penny. But a new sale has declined Sony’s WH-1000XM4 headphones at a record low price. The 43 percent discount brings the M4s down from $348 to $198.
Sony released the WH-1000XM4 headphones in 2020, further improving what was already our top pick. Our review gave the M4 a 94thanks to a higher-quality finish – tactile matte finish and smooth plastic – and a better overall fit. The device also offers powerful ANC, powerful bass and auto-pause if you start talking. These headphones provide comfort without compromising on sound or ANC quality.

Improvements over the M4 include increased comfort and better noise cancellation thanks to the V1 chip and the addition of eight ANC microphones – twice that of the M4. I will say that I have M5and I was one of the only people on a recent transatlantic flight who didn’t have to worry about a crying baby.
