The GPUs will enable voice, camera and gesture recognition to make it easier to control “seven high-definition screens displaying 3D graphics and six-inch in-car cameras and interactive features.” At the same time, it can supposedly run on-demand triple-A gaming titles, in-car entertainment and AI-powered productivity apps.
The system will also be highly customizable for the driver. According to Intel, this will include the ability to “execute complex vehicle control commands through natural language processing, accurately answer vehicle-related questions, and even chat comfortably with users, providing a more interactive and enjoyable journey.”
Intel added that it has created more than 500 features and AI applications for cars, and more than 100 independent software vendors are working on in-car experiences. In addition, the A760A iGPU will be fully compatible with software developed for the PC platform, while also being scalable from entry and mid-range vehicles to higher-end vehicles.
