PowerWash Simulator’s developers accidentally gave Steam players a free update

Surprise 2022 was a hit PowerWash Simulator has already seen additional content such as DeLorean car wash DLC and even a special edition to help mental health research. However, the latest update gave users more from the FuturLab developer Last post on X.

The company released a cruise ship DLC yesterday (Summer Season 2024), but many users on Steam complained that they could not play it. While the patch was being developed, a future level titled “Muckingham Files 4” was released on Steam for free. Consequently, users (and others) on that platform cannot play both levels now.

The Summer Season release lets you make your rusty, dirty cruise ship shine again. Meanwhile, Muckingham Files 4 lets users blast graffiti on cryptocurrency enthusiast Devon King’s vandalized mansion or clean up Floraine Perez’s firefighting plane after a flight over Mount Rushless.

Like very specific YouTube videos, PowerWash Simulator Blasting gunk off various objects provides a simple but satisfying experience and… nothing else, really. The folks at Steam will be doubling down on the fun this month, but FuturLab probably doesn’t want them rubbing it in the faces of users of other platforms. “Just pretend it didn’t happen,” advised the developer.
