Game Informer magazine is shutting down after 33 years


Another huge name in the gaming press is going out of business. Game Reporter announced today After 33 years in business, it said it was closed by its parent company, GameStop. The entire website and its archives have also been removed and now redirect to the magazine’s closing statement thanking its readers.
