Sony is currently preparing Mario-like adventure game for PS5 This cute little Astro Bot is inspired by the mascot character. This title arrives on September 6th and looks like an absolute blast. Taking a page from Nintendo, the company also made a new announcement themed DualSense controller to celebrate its release. It’s quite charming.
The Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller is a tribute to the box of bolts that first appeared in the 2013 collection of VR mini-games. Sony calls the controller “a true work of art,” and it’s easy to see. why This thing is definitely clean. Directly on the touch panel is a pair of robotic peepers. The handles and buttons feature Astro Bot’s signature blue accents.
The company also explained how the upcoming 3D platformer uses many of the features of the DualSense controller. The developer has increased the number of textures that players can feel through the controller through haptic feedback. Adaptive trigger response has been improved to take advantage of the hero’s new powers. As an example, Sony describes the ability to “feel the thruster click” when using the jetpack.
It says that every new power in the game is “given the same special treatment”. It includes a Dual Speeder gadget that turns the controller into a motion-controlled spaceship. These new features are only for all non-robot-like DualSense gamepads.
