Warner Bros. has bought the developer behind its MultiVersus brawler

Warner Bros. Player First Games, the developer behind the popular . It makes a lot of sense as a hit Smash Bros-esque brawler From DB properties. The game includes characters such as Batman, Bugs Bunny, Agent Smith Matrix and of course both Rick and Morty.

Not much seems to be changing about the day-to-day operations of Player First Games. Co-founders Tony Huynh and Chris White will still lead the company, though the pair will be leaving Warner Bros. He will report to Carlos Barbosa, Vice President of Games and Head of Studio.

Huynh says the team is very excited about this acquisition and that it “should be great for MultiVersus Overall.” No word on what’s next for the fighting game. However, Player One get on the list, so it’s likely to continue. I’d like to beat Tom and Jerry like Tony Soprano. Make it happen DB.

MultiVersus Available on almost every platform including PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Better? There is a cross between the platforms. The game isn’t available for Nintendo Switch yet, but that may change anytime soon .
