Netflix hires former Epic Games exec as new President of Games


Netflix has become a notable new leader with its rapidly expanding gaming efforts. the streaming company has announced that it has hired Alain Tascan as its new president of games. Before joining Netflix, Tascan was the executive vice president of game development at a small studio called Epic Games. In this role, he oversaw the development of some of the company’s highly successful titles, such as first-party. Fortnite, Lego Fortnite, Rocket League and Autumn Children.

The company is also recruiting talent on the creative side. Since launching the game project in 2021, Netflix has acquired notable indie studios.
