If you’ve been eyeing Amazon’s newest set of AirPods Prime Day sale seems like a good time to drop. Every model in Apple’s line of wireless headphones is on sale at its lowest price ever AirPods Pro for AirPods Max for base model AirPods. We’ve broken down all the discounts below.
Before accepting, remember that Apple is reported to be planning to release new headphones by the end of the year. If you’re not in a big rush to upgrade, especially if you’re looking at one of the two lower-priced models, it’s worth the wait. But if you’re in need of a brand new set of headphones today, you can at least save a little more than usual.

The latest AirPods Pro It retails for $169, which is the lowest price we’ve seen. Apple sells the noise-cancelling headphones for $249, though they’ve often been on sale for $190 on Amazon in recent months.
AirPods Pro remains the “best for iPhone” in our guide best wireless headphones. Like all AirPods, they work particularly well with other Apple devices, but they include above-average active noise cancellation (ANC), a high-level transparency mode (which blends your voice with outside noise), and a fuller, more pleasingly warm sound. . profile unlike other Apple headphones. The AirPods Max It’s down to a new low of $395, which is about $85 below the average street price on Amazon in recent months and $154 below Apple’s list price.
We gave this pair review score 84 When he returns in December 2020. Despite its age, the Max remains one of the most premium sets of wireless headphones you can buy. It sounds impressively detailed and balanced, the aluminum frame looks and feels premium, and the ANC is still among the strongest on the market. Battery life is average at around 20 hours, and its Apple-Watch-style digital crown is more responsive than typical touch controls. Most (but not all) the usual AirPods features are still here, from hands-free Siri to finding my watch and faster pairing and device switching with other Apple devices. However, the metal design is quite heavy and oddly lacks a power button, instead relying on a weak “work” to enter low power mode. You still have to be loyal to Apple to get the most out of it. But with this discount it becomes more competitive.
Note that according to past reports, we may see the redesigned AirPods Max by the end of 2024. BloombergIt’s Mark Gurman, probably around the launch of the next iPhone. However, the new model isn’t expected to be a major overhaul: Gurman says the only major change will be the switch to USB-C for charging and wired playback. The current set uses Lightning. If you can live with that, it’s still worth considering at this price.

The third generation Apple AirPods it also retails for $120, an all-time low. That’s $49 off Apple’s list price and $20 off the regular sale price we’ve seen at other retailers over the past few months.
It’s harder to recommend this pair than the AirPods Pro and AirPods Max, as its semi-open design lets in a good amount of edge noise, limits bass response, and won’t suit everyone’s ears. what else Bloomberg reported Apple will introduce two new fourth-generation AirPods models later this year in one variant with an updated design, improved sound quality and ANC. (The new AirPods Pros aren’t expected until 2025.) Still, if you can wait, you probably should. But if you prefer a non-sealed design and just want the basic AirPods feature to be as minimal as possible, it’ll probably be a while before any next-gen Apple earbuds come this cheap. These earbuds are slimmer than the third-generation model, so they may fit some ears better.
