It’s that time of year again. Steam Summer Sale it’s officially live, offering deep discounts on thousands of games and even Steam Decks. The sale runs until July 11th, so you have some time to browse and complete this wish list.
Reverend Steam Deck for sale, with some caveats. Deals applies to LCD model only, and not the newer OLED version. Also, the 256GB LCD display is not available. That puts the 64GB at $300 instead of $350, and the 512GB model at $382 instead of $450. Incidentally, this puts the 64GB model at the same price as the Nintendo Switch. I love the Switch but it can’t work Elden Ring.
when talking about Elden Ring, on sale for $42. The good news? That’s a 30 percent discount. The bad news? Recently launched (and brutally hard) expansion DLC Shade of Erdtree. That will have to wait for next year.
It’s not the only AAA title available at a discount. Cyberpunk 2077 half off, for $30 and Baldur’s Gate 3 It’s $48, which is a 20 percent discount. A discount is rarely found Baldur’s Gate 3 In general, this may be the time to finally try 2023 Game of the Year winner. The legacy of Hogwarts it’s only $24, an indie smash Palworld It’s $23 and Star Wars: The Last Jedi More than 50 percent off, it’s $32.
There are also plenty of indie darlings on the cheap. Iconic Stardew Valley It’s $9 and it’s a retro shooter Kobokbasi It is 14 dollars. The fantastic Diving Dave is also $14, which is 30 percent off. Hell It’s $10, but the sequel remains full price. Even the recently released smash hit Balatroa kind of roguelike sequel to Poker , is on sale, albeit only at a ten percent discount.
The Steam Summer Sale includes some really deep discounts on popular games. We are talking about impulse buying territory here. Disco Elysium: Final Cut it’s only $4 and it’s a popular platform Celeste it’s only $2. Border 2 it’s 3 dollars Castle Accidents $1.50 and Batman: Arkham Knight It is 2 dollars. As usual, Witcher 3 There is a serious discount of 4 manats.
If you’re like me, you’ll be using this sale to grab everything that’s been on your wishlist for a while, and it’ll end up in a digital unplayed pile until the end of time. To that end, one researcher recently used the SteamIDFinder database to calculate this account of unplayed Steam games for $19 billion. Let’s get it to at least $20 billion by July 11th.
