Clickolding, from the I Am Your Beast devs, looks like a clicking nightmare

There’s going to be a new clicker game in town and this one it looks like a complete nightmare (in a good way.) Clickingseems to derive its name from cuckolding, Described on Steam as a “A darkly escalating story game about using the counter to please the masked man sitting in the corner of your hotel room.” Yes.

There’s a trailer, and it only adds to all the unsettling feelings surrounding this game. Indeed, a masked man sitting in the corner of a hotel room demands that you hit the billing counter. There is something… violent and almost sexual about everything. What happens when you click enough? Do you get a bag of money? Does it explode? Are you bursting? Is it becoming a new entry in the Saw franchise? I guess we’ll find out on July 16th, when the game launches on PC.

Of course, clicks are not high art, but this is made by the company Strange Scaffold. El Paso, elsewhere, I’m Your Pet and Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, among others. So we hope that the game can turn the simple clicker formula into something unique. It is also published by Outersloth, an indie game foundation founded by its creators Between us. With this generation, there is no way Clicking becomes a standard clicker. Did we mention the creepy guy in the corner? He also has a gun.

It’s rare for a clicker game to become a bona fide phenomenon, but it’s not unheard of. Someone called last week Banana It rose to the top of the Steam charts. This hotel room didn’t have a creepy guy, but it did offer the potential to make actual money.
