Paramount+ is raising prices again for all of the Tulsa King stans out there

It’s about to get a little more expensive to watch King of TulsaStar Trek shows and that Sonic the hedgehog spinoff. Paramount Global is raising prices again for its streaming service Paramount+. as reported CNBC. This will bring the cost of Paramount+ with the Showtime plan from $12 to $13 per month, and the bare-bones Paramount+ Essential plan to $8 per month, up from $6.

The increase takes effect on August 20 for new customers, though existing users will have until around September 20. There is a silver lining. Pre-existing customers subscribing to the Essential plan will avoid the price increase. So only Showtime users with existing Paramount+ and all new subscribers will see the upgrade. It follows just another fee increase last year.

Paramount Global has been trying to find a buyer for Paramount+ for months, with no success. A merger was proposed with the latest Skydance and National Entertainment collapsed. But the company recently boasted about the broadcaster It had amassed 71 million paying customers, although it still works at a loss. As a point of reference, Peacock has around 31 million subscribers and Max has just over 97 million.

Knuckles it was well received and my father had it King of Tulsa continuous repetition for more than one year. I subscribe even though I’m only there for Star Trek. After that well runs dry, seems to be happeningI’m not there.

Of course, Paramount+ is by no means alone at the streamflation dinner table. Price hikes have been rampant over the past year or two, and nearly every major platform has participated. Max increased subscription costs earlier this month and Peacock announced that he had taken a similar step for the end of this summer. Disney+, Apple TV+ and Netflix recently raised their prices.
