Apple will release its first premium podcast with early access for Apple TV+ subscribers. The company released information about it today’s first bilingual podcast, My DivoIt will be the first podcast connected to an Apple TV+ subscription.
All eight episodes My Divo Starting July 1, English and Spanish will be available when Apple TV+ subscribers connect their subscription to Apple Podcasts. Non-subscribers will hear new episodes every week. However, they will have access to the first two episodes on release day. Apple noted this My Divo “All upcoming Apple TV+ podcasts will also be fully available to subscribers,” he said, exemplifying a new business model for podcast distribution in the future.
My Divo is a podcast about a Mexican singer , stars award-winning journalist Maria Garcia, also known as El Divo de Juarez (hence the name), as she tries to reconcile her identity with the legacy of the brilliant Latino performer. She revisits similarities in her Mexican heritage, including her sexuality, and her upbringing in Ciudad Juarez.
