Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 2 Pro drop to a record low of $120

The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are the company’s latest buds (though they’re now approaching the two-year mark). You can think of them as Samsung’s answer to Apple’s AirPods, as they work better when paired with their manufacturer’s phone. Galaxy Buds will work with other Android phones and be able It works with Apple products (with only a few missing features), but some features like 24-bit audio are reserved for Samsung devices.

In general, Billy gave buds 88 points in his review and found himself impressed with the audio (after Samsung’s previous attempts). He praised the punch of the bass and open sound, both “full and full of detail and clarity”. The ANC is also good, effectively blocking the noise of the coffee grinder, and the improved fit – thanks to a smaller design and pressure-reducing vents – makes the buds more comfortable to wear for longer. Touch inputs allow you to control many of the phone’s functions hands-free, but tweaking your ear buds can sometimes result in misclicks.
