Adventure Time is coming back with a movie and two spinoff series

Looks like the sun hasn’t quite set on Finn, Jake, Marceline, Princess Bubblegum and the rest of the post-apocalyptic gang. Iconic cartoon Adventure time is coming back in a big way, .

Cartoon Network Studios is working on three new entries in the franchise, a movie and two TV shows. There are no plot details about the movie, which makes sense given the show’s ending and but behind the scenes there are a bunch of talented people.

Rebecca Sugar, who directed many of the best episodes of the original run before making it, is back Steven Universe. The same goes for Adam Muto, the showrunner for the second half of the series Above the garden wall . We don’t have any release date or platform information for the movie, but it will most likely be released on Max.

Adventure Time: Side Quests is a children’s show similar in theme to the early seasons of the OG series. Starring young Finn and Jake as they embark on an adventure in the Land of Ooo. It won’t be a highly serialized show. It will mostly be standalone episodes starring previous versions of beloved characters like The Ice King. Nate Cash, an animator on the original series, is added to this series.

Finally, there is Adventure Time: Hey BMO. This performance is prepared not only for children, but also for preschoolers. As the name suggests, everyone’s favorite portable gaming console stars BMO. An early presentation still suggests that the animation will be some sort of riff on claymation. Adam Muto will also participate in this project.

There seems to be something here for everyone. The movie should please adults who grew up on the show. Side Quests It is for children like the original Adventure time was originally and Hi BMO is for preschool children. Also, Max recently greenlit an alt-universe spinoff Fionna and cake for the second season. The adventure will truly never end! For the record, that’s what I’m here for.
