As the grand finale to Xbox’s Summer Game Fest showcase, we were treated to an exclusive premiere of the latest addition to gaming after the new consoles. Gears series, Gears of War: E-Day.
The trailer starts with a one-on-one brawl between the Gears guy and ends with a headbutt. But soon after, the floor collapses between them. Luckily, Gears’ Guy #2 is there to hold your hand. And sad Crazy world the melody plays in the background. because Gears. He called E-Day, and ending with an apocalyptic landscape of a city, this game seems to be based on an invasion. Apparently it’s an origin story based on the Locust Invasion through the eyes of Marcus Fenix - AKA the Gears guy. Get the big guns. There’s no release window yet, but it will most certainly hit Game Pass when it arrives.
