It’s Treyarch’s turn for a big Call of Duty game, which means it’s time for the new Black Ops. Today we learned that Black operation 6 It will have a complete campaign set in the 1990s and will include (largely) 80s-inspired locations. Cold war left. Raven Software is actually handling the campaign and promises “world-spanning missions with stealth gameplay mixed with blockbuster action.” ” Sure looks a lot like Black Ops!
Storyline locations include the Middle East, Southern Europe, Russia, and the United States. For those deeply engrossed in Blops’ compelling storyline, Frank Woods and Russell Adler will return. 6and the story will be linked with flashbacks of the 1980s Black operation 2. The campaign will be separated from an “expanded campaign hub” where you can “find out about allies, explore and solve puzzles, collect lore and upgrades” and, of course, select missions.
Multiplayer is the main event for most Call of Duty players, and it’s also an area where Treyarch usually excels. This year, the developers are talking about “mobility”, which will de-emphasize linear strafing and movement in favor of a more chained system. We didn’t see it in action – check out the live stream above for that – but here’s a description from Activision:
“Omnimovement allows players to sprint, slide and dive in any direction, while the new Supine Prone, along with the ability to rotate while prone, gives Black Ops 6 players greater freedom of movement and tactical flexibility.”

Refuse! In terms of multiplayer modes, there will be 16 main maps – 12 for six-on-six battles and four Strike levels that support two-on-two and six-on-six matches. As rumored before launch, Black operation 6 marks the return of the classic Prestige game for the most advanced players. Round-Based Zombies will also be in the game with two brand new maps, Liberty Falls and Terminus. Activision promises more maps and modes after launch.
Expect to hear more about it Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as we get closer to its release date – October 25, 2024. Pre-orders will, as always, be a free Open Beta with early access. It is coming to PC (Battle.net, Microsoft Store and Steam), Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series consoles.
