Sony WH-CH720N are ANC headphones It sells for $98 through Amazon. That’s 35 percent off, which is nothing to sneeze at. We really liked these headphones at the original price $150, so we definitely recommend them now.
In other words, the features here are perfect for the price. This is not surprising, as Sony has a fantastic track record when it comes to budget friendly boxes. The WH-CH720N headphones offer excellent sound quality, capable ANC, decent battery life and a comfortable fit. What else is there?
Specifically, the battery lasts about 35 hours per charge, which is a decent figure. Being in the middle of a ride, getting completely lost in traffic, and hearing that annoying “low battery” warning followed by an immediate shutdown is quite a bummer. There are some physical controls, including a power/pairing button that toggles between ANC and transparency modes, volume buttons, and a noise canceling button. These headphones also work with all major voice assistants.
We were particularly impressed with the comfort and fit, saying we could easily wear them for “hours” thanks to the ample cushioning in the ear pads. However, the overall sound quality is the highlight. Bass is active. -point and other frequency ranges have great clarity.
On the downside, the plastic exterior won’t win any design awards and lacks some of the advanced features found on more expensive Sony headphones. There is no automatic pause when you take them out or start talking. Other than that, these are good headphones.
