ASUS announced a trio of new releases in its ProArt laptop line at Computex in Taipei this week. These devices are generally thinner, lighter and more portable than previous generations, although the similarities end there. Let’s get into it.
ProArt 16 is a thinner and lighter version of ProArt Studiobook. which we absolutely love. The updated design is based on this The chassis found with the ROG G16, but with some important differences. Instead of the physical button found on the Studiobook, there’s a 4K 60Hz display and a virtual dial pad. It has a nano black coating that is said to be fingerprint resistant.
As for the specs, it comes with AMD brand new Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor Can provide 50 TOPS NPU performance. For added power, it also offers an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU for a combined TOPS score of 321. NVIDIA claims this makes it “the first AI PC built for advanced AI workflows in creativity, gaming, productivity and more.”
It has a 16-inch 4K OLED display and can be expanded with up to 64GB of RAM and 4TB of solid state storage. It’s also a Copilot+ PC, so it has a button to call up Microsoft’s digital assistant and plenty of other AI bells and whistles, like the company’s StoryCube file management app.
The ProArt PX13 is a completely different animal. This laptop is a 2-in-1 hybrid that Same chassis as ROG Flow X13. It is also equipped with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and Nvidia GeForce 4060 graphics processor. It has a 2.8K OLED touchscreen display that supports HDR content. This hybrid also lost weight, reaching only three kilograms.
Finally, there’s the ProArt PZ13. The Microsoft Surface Pro line. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon Plus processor with a dedicated AI engine and a Copilot key to take advantage of all the features. the latest and greatest advances in artificial intelligence.
The PZ13 is also dust and water resistant thanks to its IP52 rated rubber splash cover. It even comes with a full-size SD card reader and a 5MP front camera and 13MP rear camera with IR support, which is rare in convertibles. Like all of these ProArt notebooks, it’s light at 1.8 pounds.
