This model is usually priced at $170. The third-generation AirPods were released in 2021 and brought some big improvements over the previous version, with a more compact and comfortable design and better sound quality.

Apple’s third-generation AirPods are again at a record low price.
Third generation AirPods won and marked a marked improvement over its predecessors in the regular AirPods line. They have a shorter body and a more angled earcup placement, which is designed for a more direct path of sound to your ear and a more comfortable fit. They also brought the regular AirPods an IPX4 rating, making the earbuds and charging case sweat and water resistant.
This model is powered by Apple’s H1 chip, which enables features such as always-on Siri and quick one-touch pairing. The chip also provides more advanced features in the audio department, such as Adaptive EQ, spatial audio and dynamic head tracking. The sound quality got a big boost in the third-generation AirPods. Engadget’s Billy Steele found that “the sound is bigger and more impressive than previous AirPods.”
The third-generation AirPods also have pretty good battery life, lasting about six hours on their own and up to 30 with the charging case. They also support quick charging with the case, which allows for about an hour of extra use after just five minutes in the case.
