The TweetDeck clone for Threads is finally here

The web version of Threads just got more user-friendly. Meta features a new Tweetdeck-like column view after starting feature earlier this month.

The new look, nicknamed “ThreadsDeck” by some Threads users, allows you to include up to 100 different threads on the Threads home page. Each column can also be set to auto-refresh so you can track new posts as they arrive.

While Tweetdeck fans appreciate the familiarity, the new look also addresses some of the headaches of Threads’ “for you” algorithm. While the new column layout doesn’t allow you to completely remove the “for you” feed, you can more easily hide it in column view and place your “below” feed and others side by side. It also greatly increases the number of posts you can view at any one time, making it a more practical way to find real-time information.

Threads’ “for you” feed has been a long-standing source of complaint from many users, who question why the feed often features days-old posts and random stories from unrelated strangers instead of more timely updates. Meta’s controversial decision automatically The “political” content of his recommendations is also often criticized.

At the same time, the company recognizes that users want to find news and other timely updates. Topics have also recently been “” filters for search results and has a limited version of “trending topics”. The topics column view also makes both of these features more visible, as you can assign specific columns for specific search topics to track at a glance.
