Microsoft outage impacts Bing, Copilot, ChatGPT internet search and other sites


Many Microsoft services, including Bing and Copilot, ChatGPT web search, and DuckDuckGo, do not work in Europe. Leaky Computer informed. Bing.com and Copilot return blank pages and 429 errors, while DuckDuckGo simply says, “An error occurred displaying search results. Please try again.

Both ChatGPT web search (available for Plus or enterprise users) and DuckDuckGo rely on the Bing API, so these sites don’t work either. The outage appears to have started around 3:00 a.m. ET today (May 23).
