Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses can now upload photos directly to Instagram Stories

There is meta updated his Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses Giving it even more hands-free capabilities, starting with a new feature that lets you share photos as Instagram Stories without taking out your phone. If you’ve already taken the photo you want, you can simply say, “Hey Meta, share my latest photo on Instagram.” But if you want to be more spontaneous and take a photo to upload as a Story on the spot, you can say “Hey Meta, post a photo on Instagram.” It’s for those moments you don’t mind sharing with your viewers in real-time without editing.

Additionally, you’ll now be able to get glasses to quickly play your tunes on Amazon Music. Just say “Hey Meta, play Amazon Music” to start listening through the smart glasses’ open-ear audio system. Yes, you will be able to control the volume with the device’s touch controls or your voice. If you have a Quiet account and need to decompress, you can listen to guided meditations or mindfulness exercises on your smart glasses instead. To do this, just say “Hey Meta, play Daily Calm”. If you don’t have a Calm account, you can get a free three-month subscription by following the on-screen instructions in the Meta View app. All of these features are “rolling out,” so you’ll get access to them if you don’t already have them.

Also Meta last month introduced multimodal AI for Ray-Ban smart glasses after months of testing. It allows smart glasses to act as a personal AI device outside of a smartphone Rabbit R1 and Humanist AI Pin. Thanks to that update, you can now ask the smart glasses to describe objects around them, identify landmarks, and read signs in different languages, which is especially useful for frequent travelers. Meta also enabled the device to make hands-free video calls with WhatsApp and Messenger.
