Other versions of the emulator support the Just-in-time (JIT) compiler, which optimizes the code to run more smoothly on a specific platform. However, the one in the App Store doesn’t support it and never will until Apple changes its rules. Rydgård says that iOS devices are “generally fast enough” to run almost all PSP games at full speed, so you might not notice much of a difference.
