Google has released the 128GB Pixel Tablet , without padding. With the dock it costs around $400 compared to around $500 at most outlets. That’s a lot on paper, but there’s an elephant-sized caveat. we and were mostly admired by this dock.
Without a dock, you can’t stream content to the device, which is one of the major downsides. We found the camera placement a bit awkward, especially when participating in video calls. The 2,560 x 1,600 LCD panel isn’t as vibrant as an OLED panel, but it gets the job done. All the features of this device are “good”, but for $400, that’s probably to be expected.
The dock brings some cool stuff to the table, like a sturdy stand, fantastic speakers, and of course, charging. However, there are some things the Pixel Tablet excels at even without a charger. Battery life is excellent, lasting more than 21 hours per charge at 50 percent brightness. This will handle even the longest international flight. We also found the tablet useful as a smart display, especially if you’ve bought into the Google smart home ecosystem.
This is a price drop this includes a new smartphone. The Pixel 8a is a budget-friendly way to get busy Google’s powerful AI toolkitLike Gemini, Best Take and Audio Magic Eraser.
