Tom Clancy’s XDefiant it’s almost upon us. It’s Ubisoft liberates Free-to-play first-person shooter on May 21 for Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC via Ubisoft Connect. The developer is starting work with the current version of the game, which was scheduled to continue six weeks ago. XDefiant’s the first season officially begins. Ubisoft announced A game in 2021 that promises team-based matches with an emphasis on gunplay that includes elements from other games in the Tom Clancy universe.
The preseason will offer 14 maps, 24 weapons, and five different game modes with five playable factions inspired by Ubisoft’s other franchises. Players will have to choose their faction before starting a match and respawning. They also get to choose their primary and secondary weapons – their options include assault rifles, assault rifles, shotguns and sniper rifles, and grenades. To customize the gun, they can add barrel and muzzle attachments, such as sights and grips.
Each faction will give players access to two active abilities, one is a passive buff and the other is an ultra ability that they must fill up as the match progresses. One of the available factions, Libertad, focuses on healing, while members of the Purifiers faction can use fire to burn their opponents. Echelon players can detect enemy locations with their stealth technology, while Phantoms’ abilities can prevent damage. The last faction available, DedSec, is for those who want to play as hackers.
When the first season starts, Ubisoft adds four new factions, 12 new weapons and 12 new maps to the game. according to 1st year road map The developer shared last year that it expects to release four seasons alongside the game’s first year, each adding more new content to keep players engaged, invested and coming back to play.
