Tinder is making it easier to share date details with family and friends


unveiled a feature that both helps users share their excitement about a date with their loved ones and also acts as a safety tool. The Share My Date feature allows users to share details about a scheduled date with a single link.

The URL can display details such as the location, date and time of the meeting, as well as a picture of your match and a link to their profile. There may also be some notes on the page. You can edit your date plans so that the people you share the link with have the most up-to-date information. Dates can be preset up to 30 days in the app. There you can create unlimited dates and share them with your loved ones for those lucky enough to have a bunch of matches they’ve made IRL plans with.

Tinder says that about 51 percent of users under the age of 30 share their date information with their friends, and 19 percent with their mothers. Just to be safe, it’s always a good idea to let someone know where and when you’re going on a date and the details of who you’re meeting. Share My History can make the process a little easier. Match.com in 2020 it allows users to send details about their dates to emergency contacts if things go wrong.

Tinder will be rolling out its Share My Date app in the coming months. It will be available in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, India, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Japan, Brazil, Switzerland, Mexico, Netherlands, Italy, Korea, Vietnam and Thailand.
