US House of Representatives passed the bill on Saturday it could ban TikTok in that country or force its parent company to sell. According to the revised version, ByteDance was originally supposed to give up six months to a year. The bill now goes to the Senate, where it could vote on it within days — possibly as early as this Tuesday.
That’s why I’m keeping this entry short, because I’ll probably write about this TikTok saga again later this week.

Apple’s calculator for Macs is reportedly getting a massive update with macOS 15 to turn it into a note-taking, currency-converting hybrid app. To begin with, AppleInsider It said it would overhaul the calculator’s design, replacing number boxes with round buttons. Another round of price cuts has knocked $2,000 off the starting prices of Tesla’s Model Y, Model X and Model S for US buyers. Tesla’s Model Y now starts at $42,990 for the rear-wheel-drive base model, with the base Model S starting at $72,990 and the Model X starting at $77,990. The company will be hoping that these subsequent price cuts will help with all of that . It has a controversial full self-driving software update too.
