The best deals on AirPods, MacBooks, iPads and more during Amazon’s Spring Sale

The AirPods Pro it’s still on sale for $189, which is the lowest price yet for a model with a USB-C charging case. We’ve seen this deal on Amazon for most of the past few months, but it’s still $60 less than buying directly from Apple, so it’s hard to complain. This offer is also at Best Buy.

AirPods Pro is the “best for iOS” pick in our guide best wireless headphones: They sound great, their active noise cancellation (ANC) is strong enough for most situations, and most importantly, they provide several unique benefits, from faster pairing when connected to another Apple device, to silent Siri, to adaptive EQ. The built-in mic isn’t the best for calls, and the six-hour battery life is fine, but if you’re into Apple, it’s still a good buy. We gave the second generation AirPods Pro 88 points in our view. Second generation Apple Pencil it’s down to $79 again, which is another deal we’ve seen a few times in recent months, but still matches the stylus’ all-time low. Apple usually sells this model for $129, although third-party retailers often sell it for less. There is also a discount Walmart and Best Buy. It’s the only stylus on iPadOS that supports pressure sensitivity, so it’s consistently accurate for drawing and taking notes. It’s also easy to connect and charge, as it can be magnetically attached to the side of the iPad. Just make sure tablet compatible first.

Note that Apple is like that is reported to be planning releasing the new Pen soon, maybe next week. It’s unclear exactly what upgrades this new model will include, but if you want the latest and greatest, it’s worth the wait. However, we expect any next-generation Pen to start at a higher price than this discount, so this is still a decent chance to save.

That brings the former down to $1,050 and the latter to $1,250 — not a huge deal, obviously, but still a bit better than getting it from Apple.

Neither model is radically different from its predecessor, but that’s not a bad thing: This design was already thin, light and well-made, with a clear display, comfortable keyboard and trackpad, long battery life and enough performance for general use. That’s a marked drop from the M2 or M3 models, but it’s still fast and reliable enough for the price that it might not make sense for the desperate to get a MacBook for as little as possible.

The Beats Studio Buds + are back on sale in a variety of colors for $130, which is about $20 off the average street price of true wireless headphones and $40 off Beats’ list price. The only time we’ve seen them go cheaper was a brief drop to $120 around Black Friday. This deal is also available at other retailers including Target, Best Buy and B&H.

We gave Studio Buds + a review score 84 last year. Since Beats is an Apple subsidiary, this pair provides many of the iOS-compatible benefits you can get from a set of AirPods, such as faster pairing. Find me tracking, silent Siri and Management Center integration. Unlike AirPods, they offer similar features on Android. A comfortable fit, decent ANC and mostly neutral sound profile also help. However, like other AirPods features audio sharing and automatic device switching (with Apple gear) not supported, nor wireless charging or wear detection. And the ANC and sound quality is a step down from AirPods Pro. Still, if you dig the style and want to save some money, the Studio Buds + are worth a look.

As of this writing, 10th generation iPad Available on Amazon for $349 Best Buy. That ties an all-time low for the 10.9-inch slate and comes in at $100 below Apple’s list price. We wouldn’t be surprised if this device gets a permanent price cut when the new Air and Pro models are announced, but either way it’s a solid value with the discount. It lacks the laminated display, M-series chip, and second-generation Pencil support of the iPad Air, but its design is largely similar, it’s fast enough for reading and streaming, and it has the same 10-hour battery life. life Its front-facing camera is also on the edge of the landscape, a more natural location for FaceTime calls.

The iPad minimeanwhile, on Amazon for $400 and Target. It’s another discount we’ve seen for most of the past few months, but it still means Apple’s $100 off its MSRP. It was released in September 2021 and is overdue for an update, but it remains the only compact tablet in Apple’s lineup. It makes the most sense if you want to treat your iPad as a high-end e-reader, as it’s the easiest model to hold with one hand and squeeze into a bag. It’s still durable and fast enough for the basics, plus it works with the second-generation Apple Pencil. You probably wouldn’t want to use an 8.3-inch tablet for any serious work.
