Colorware has colored many items over the years iPhone 3G and beyond, but his final product is particularly clever. Limited edition Apple Pencil Number 2 Makes Apple’s 2nd generation stylus a facsimile of the standard HB #2 pen, the only thing missing are the chew marks on the eraser.
“What sets it apart? It connects to your iPad in an instant, charges without a hitch, and delivers precision that feels just right,” the company notes on its product page. “And it’s designed after the familiar pen we all know, improved for today’s technology. It’s not only smart, it’s smart looking.” (Recall that the 2nd-generation Apple Pencil offers features like “pixel-perfect accuracy, tilt and pressure sensitivity, and invisible lag,” according to Apple.)
Colorware goes on to describe other ways it will change your life. “It’s an unspoken influence, a wave of quiet intrigue that it sends across the room. It’s not just about having a piece of technology, it’s about carrying a symbol of uniqueness that speaks volumes before you.”
This paint does a lot! But it’s not cheap—the Apple Pencil No. 2 costs $215, compared to $136 for the 2nd-generation Apple Pencil. currently $79. Still, it’s certainly adorable and would make a great gift for the iPad artist. Just don’t try to sharpen it (or chew it).
