A trickle of specs and features doesn’t get us there. At MWC 2024, the company finally unveiled its next phone during the MWC night. Unfortunately, it was in a glass case – apparently The trend of this year’s Mobile World Congress is not good at all.
But it still looks good for a phone that looks like the cheapest device. Cool, even. Nothing’s design DNA is right there with an obviously scaled down version of its backlit Glyphs. The phone will apparently mark the return of the centralized camera unit, gasp! What’s next, a headphone jack?
Journalists at the event were able to capture all aspects of the new phone, which is rumored to ring cheaper than the $599 Nothing Phone 2. (The original Phone 1 cost $299 in the U.S. under the “Beta Membership” program.) Earlier rumors put the European price at around 400 euros ($430), using a cheaper MediaTek processor.
Courtesy Tom’s Guide, the noticeable bezel around the display is perhaps the biggest hallmark of the cheaper Nothing device. However, without working with Phone 2(a) in person, we will make a determination. The phone is on sale March 5.
